About Baby Sleep Mom

Calm, practical baby sleep education for parents of babies from birth to 12 months.

What Baby Sleep Mom does

Baby Sleep Mom is an English-language digital education brand for parents and caregivers in the US, UK and other English-speaking places. It offers free guides, a Start Here tool and a digital product, Emma's Gentle Sleep Roadmap.

The aim is simple: help a tired adult work out what to check, choose one response and try one small step. It does not offer schedules for all babies, and it does not promise results.

How the content is made

The guides are AI-assisted drafts written and edited by the Baby Sleep Mom editorial team. They are not medically reviewed. Each guide links to official public guidance, such as the NHS, HealthyChildren.org from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Lullaby Trust and NICE, so you can read the original advice.

Safe sleep always comes first: baby on their back, on a firm flat surface, in their own cot or bassinet in the parents' room. Where the guides and official advice differ, follow the official advice.

Meet Emma

Emma is Baby Sleep Mom's AI-created presenter.

Emma appears as a woman in her late thirties with her brown hair in a low ponytail and an oat knit top, in calm Nordic-style homes. She presents the Roadmap in a warm, clear voice. All images of Emma are AI-generated teaching scenes. They are not clinical demonstrations and not photos of real families.

Who Emma is not

  • Emma is not a real person.
  • Emma is not a mother, nurse, doctor or licensed professional.
  • Emma cannot examine your baby or answer questions about your baby's health.

Scope and medical boundary

Baby Sleep Mom is education, not medical advice. It cannot diagnose or treat anything, and it does not replace your GP, pediatrician, health visitor, midwife or nurse line.

We do not offer live one-to-one consulting, memberships, courses or medical services. If you are worried about your baby, contact your GP, pediatrician, health visitor or nurse line.

If your baby is struggling to breathe, has blue or grey skin or lips, is floppy, will not wake, or you feel something is seriously wrong, call emergency services now (999 in the UK, 911 in the US, 000 in Australia).

A note on practical observations

A caregiver, who describes themselves as a licensed nanny, was interviewed for practical observations about everyday life with babies. That interview informed how some examples are written.

It is not medical review, research validation or certification of the Baby Sleep Mom site, guides or Roadmap.
